Only 35 minutes from Alicante airport you can find the beautiful Spanish village of Los Montesinos (Google Maps). Locally, there are DIA and Unide Supermarkets as well 
 
Entertainment: Los Montesinos has a number of bars and restaurants, in the Town square you can sit outside them on the terraces and watch the goings-on of the village, there is also the Open-air Pool and sports ground, Sporting Grounds and Muncipal Pool. The Square of Los Montesinos has a lovely relaxed feeling and for most of the year, you can find the older people gathering to reminisce about the news of the day and the past years. On the square, there is a Kiosk where you can purchase newspapers, sweets, and cold drinks, as well as a variety of restaurants where you can sit and watch the world go by. 

Nearby Los Montesinos there are nature reserves and Salt lakes that are perfect for bird watching, walking, cycling, and horse riding.

Education : Los Montesinos has its own educational facilities, with an Infant/Junior School and a Secondary school,  as well as the Los Montesinos Football ground and open-air swimming pool open in the Summer. 

Property: There are a variety of options in Los Montesinos, from Townhouses to Apartments, for those who do not want to live within the Village then there is the urbanisation (residential area) of La Herrada or Montesol Villas, properties here either have a community pool or their own private pools.
