Playa Flamenca is a small coastal urbanisation located on the South Costa Blanca, only 30 minutes from Alicante airport and Corvera airport, and 15 minutes from the bustling town of Torrevieja. Playa Flamenca has excellent road links with close access to the AP7 motorway and the national road, N332 which runs from Valencia to Almeria, the Spanish equivalent of "Route 66".
Playa Flamenca has a wealth of facilities on its doorstep as follows;
Golf Courses: Three championship golf courses all within a 10-minute drive, including Villamartin, the frequent venue for the Mediterranean Open, the Campoamor golf course, and Las Ramblas.

Zenia Boulevard, which opened in 2012, is an open-air shopping center with over 150 shops and restaurants, Playa Flamenca also has its own selection of commercial centers, the best-known one being the

Entertainment: There is something for every taste and age group in Playa Flamenca, from Bowling, Restaurants, and bars, Golf and a leisure center, CDM (

Supermarkets: There are a wealth of Supermarkets in the area, from Consum, Mercadona, Lidl and Al Campo, though if you fancy a more traditional market then each Saturday there is also the
Playa Flamenca Market, which opens at 8AM, there are a large number of stalls selling wonderful fresh fruit and vegtables, to clothes and so much more.
Medical: There are a wealth of chemists in Playa Flamenca, though if you need urgent medical treatment then you can visit the local "
Centro de Salud" - or if you need to visit an Accident and Emergency center, you can visit the main hospital in
Torrevieja,
Climate: The Costa Blanca enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate, with cool sea breezes in summer and protection by surrounding mountains against the cold north winds in winter. The area averages nearly 3,000 hours of sunshine each year and the average temperature exceeds 20 degrees.
